Why Choose Us
FAQs
-
You can book whenever you have a new or ongoing concern about your health, notice a change that is affecting your wellbeing, or simply want to take a more preventative approach to your health. This may include persistent tiredness, changes in sex drive, erectile difficulties, changes in mood or strength, urinary symptoms or concerns about your long-term health.
-
Yes. If you are experiencing symptoms that could be associated with hormone changes, we can assess your symptoms, medical history and overall health and arrange appropriate investigations where needed. Symptoms such as reduced libido, erectile difficulties and low energy can sometimes occur with testosterone deficiency, but they can also have many other causes, which is why proper clinical assessment is important.
-
Not everyone does. Your clinician will first discuss your symptoms and medical history and decide whether hormone testing would be clinically useful. If testosterone deficiency is suspected, blood testing may form part of the assessment alongside your symptoms and wider health picture.
-
We can discuss prostate-related symptoms and help determine whether further investigation is appropriate. This may include discussing a PSA blood test in suitable circumstances. A PSA test can help identify possible prostate problems, but the result is not specific to prostate cancer and needs to be interpreted alongside your symptoms, age, medical history and other clinical information.
-
Your appointment begins with a detailed discussion about your symptoms, medical history, current medications, lifestyle and any specific concerns you would like to address. Your clinician can then recommend appropriate next steps, which might include lifestyle advice, personalised blood tests, treatment, monitoring or referral to another specialist. Safe treatment and prescribing decisions require clinicians to have adequate information about your health.
-
Yes. We can arrange appropriate blood tests and other investigations based on your symptoms and clinical assessment. If you need imaging or specialist assessment that is not provided directly by Complete Clinical Care, we can refer you to an appropriate specialist or service. Professional guidance recognises referral as an important part of providing appropriate ongoing care.
-
Yes. Using private healthcare does not mean you have to give up your NHS GP or NHS care. You can continue using NHS services alongside private care, although private and NHS treatment are generally kept separate. Relevant information can be shared between healthcare professionals where appropriate to support safe and coordinated care.
-
You do not usually need to bring your entire medical record, but relevant information can be very helpful. If you have recent blood-test results, scan reports, hospital letters or a list of your current medications, bring these with you where possible. This can help your clinician understand your health history and make safe, informed recommendations.
