PRP Hair Loss Treatment Birmingham
At Complete Clinical Care in Edgbaston, Birmingham, we offer clinician-led PRP hair loss treatment for men and women experiencing thinning hair and selected forms of hair loss. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) uses platelets from your own blood and is injected into targeted areas of the scalp to support hair follicle activity and hair density. Because hair loss can have many different causes, every treatment begins with an individual consultation to understand your symptoms, medical history and whether PRP may be appropriate for you.
Who is PRP Hair Loss Treatment for?
PRP hair treatment may be suitable for men and women experiencing thinning hair, reduced hair density or selected forms of pattern hair loss. It can be considered where active hair follicles are still present and may be used as part of a personalised approach to supporting scalp and hair follicle health.
Because hair loss can have many different causes — including genetics, hormonal changes, stress, illness or nutritional factors — every patient should have an individual assessment first to understand the likely cause of their hair loss and determine whether PRP is an appropriate treatment option.

What is PRP Therapy?
PRP therapy treatments (Platelet-rich plasma) use the platelets in your blood to regenerate the tissues in your target areas.
The platelets are injected near target area where they will stimulate the regeneration of tissue and encourage increased blood flow, collagen production and nerve sensitivity.
Hair loss PRP treatments include a tailored consultation, treatment and follow up with Yasmeen, our advanced nurse practitioner and expert in PRP therapies.
Meet Yasmeen…

What happens during the treatment?
Your clinician will conduct an assessment to make sure the treatment is right for you.
Blood is collected from your arm and put into a centrifuge where the different components of the blood are separated out.
After 15 mins, the blood is removed from the centrifuge and the platelets collected, ready to use.
The platelets are then injected into the target areas where they will begin to regenerate the tissue.
