Our Nutrition and Lifestyle DNA tests are conducted with blood sample taken by a clinician at Complete Clinical Care. The sample is then sent for laboratory analysis, where selected genetic markers are assessed before your personalised report is produced.

No. Unlike some home DNA testing kits, your blood sample is collected by a clinician during your appointment, so you do not need to collect or post a sample yourself.

We will let you know in advance if there are any specific preparation requirements for your test. Unless you have been advised otherwise, continue taking prescribed medication as normal and bring details of any medications or supplements you currently use.

Fasting is not usually required simply to analyse your DNA. However, if additional blood tests are being performed at the same appointment, you may receive separate preparation instructions.
